American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Grants
The City of Memphis has asked the Alliance to serve as a central clearinghouse for the Memphis and Shelby County area on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). As such, our website provides information on ARRA discretionary and competitive grant opportunities, grant awards that have been made to organizations and institutions in Memphis and Shelby County, and ARRA compliance. The Alliance stays in contact with OMB and other resources to make sure we are giving the most accurate (and available) information. The federal government is still adjusting terms and conditions related to ARRA funding, and the federal agencies may have different approaches to reported information, particularly related to jobs created. It is therefore important to communicate regularly with your funding agency.
